Hey I don't really know if this is where I should be writing this but I need to let someone know about me. My name's Jordan and I live in northern Oklahoma. I'm 18 years old. I'm goin to get straight to the point and say I think I might be a vampire. I feel really weird saying that. I've read all kinds of things about real vampires as well as vampires in myths and legends. Let me describe how I look. I'm 5'11", blond hair, very blue eyes, pretty good-lookin(or so I've been told. I'm not gonna brag or anything). Yeah, it sounds pretty normal. Like the All-American teenage kid. Except for just a couple of things. I have 5 tiny scars on my left hand I've had since before I can remember. They form an EXACT pentagram. I also was born with very sharp canine teeth. But I know so have alot of other people. I've had very wierd symptoms(if u want to call them that)too. I feel much more active at night and it's very hard for me to go to sleep. I wake up alot during the night. I have VERY good senses. I can see almost perfect in the dark. Which helps, because I run after dark every day. I also have amazing hearing. I live in a two-story house with my grandparents and I can hear them talking downstairs talking when Im upstairs down the hall with the door closed and the tv on. They dont talk loud either. I also have a very good sense of smell as well as very quick reflexes. I've never drunkin someone elses blood and probably never will but I have tasted my own, but again, who hasnt? I get pretty severe headaches every once in awhile and sometimes I get nosebleeds that are pretty bad. Yes when I see myself bleeding, I smear it on my finger and taste it. I wont say I dont love the taste of blood cause every time I suck blood off my fingers I get chills all over my body. I hope I dont sound like a freak when people read this. I hope you all just understand that I'm really confused about why I am the way that I am. Im not saying I'm a vampire or n e thing close to that. I just know I'm different that alot of other people and it's really strange sometimes. -Jordan

First off, let me say this: it is impossible for anyone to tell you over the internet whether you are or are not a vampire. It is something you must determine for yourself; that process of self-discovery is a key part in what we commonly call 'the Awakening'.

That being said, there are many resources available for those who think they might be a vampire.

I would ask you a few questions; for one, how old are you? You referred to being a teen, but age can have some bearing on where I'd refer you. For another, where (generally speaking) do you live? You don't have to give exact details, for example I simply say 'North Mississippi'. This is more for my own curiosity than anything. Also for my own curiosity, how did you find this site?

You've made one of the most important steps you can make; you have questioned yourself, found a potential answer, and are investigating. I hope that we can help you find the answers that you seek.

Good to see a fellow Oklahoman on here! As Tanna says, no one here can (or should!) tell you you're a vampire. You must decide/discover that on your own. Good luck in your search, and I hope you find the answers you need.

I could ask you many questions, myself. But, deciding which questions to ask is difficult, as well. could you possibly go into certain details about certain . . . experiences you've had, perhaps? Other experiences that might have made you believe you're a vampire? And, as Tanna said, you need to discover for yourself if you're a vampire . . . but having a circle of friends to help you through the bad times is always a good idea.

I could go on and repeat alot of what the others have said but I wont. Instead however I'll just say that several things do ring true for example you have reconized that although in appearance you look like everyone else there are characteristics in which one might associate with modern vampirism.I wish to remind you though that these characteristic are not the rule.Second I too would like to hear of you experiences.The reason for this is that their are several Kin who do share alot of the same characteristics as modern vampires.I wont go into details ,because you may very well be in the early processes of an awakening.If that were the case then it would simply not be right for me to influence the outcome of you discovering who and what you are.What I will say is that you are on the right path and that path is one of self discovery and like any path it starts with but one step in this case it was reaching out.Alot of what I have said is cryptic I'll admit but at the same time I fell that you will figure out the next step in your discovery.

I belief you should get all the facts on vampirism before you believe you are one. I also feel you should focus on other things beside vampirisim.
