Okay, this one is pretty darned regional, but you could substitute whatever teams you wanted for the re-telling.
A family down in Texas was really was really pumped about the upcoming football game against the OSU Sooners. They went out shopping, and while they were shopping, the little boy found a Sooners T-Shirt. He took the shirt to his big sister and said, "I'm wanna be a Sooners fan, and," holding up the T-Shirt, "I think this here shirt is what I want for Christmas."
Well, his sister smacked him upside the head, and told him he needed to go to talk to Mom.
So, the little boy went through the store, and found his mom, and told her, "I'm wanna be a Sooners fan, and," holding up the T-Shirt, "I think this here shirt is what I want for Christmas."
Well, his mom smacked him upside the head, and told he needed to go talk to his father.
So, the little boy went through the store, and found his dad, and told him, "I'm wanna be a Sooners fan, and," holding up the T-Shirt, "I think this here shirt is what I want for Christmas."
Well, his dad smacked him upside the head, and said, "Well, I think we're done shopping. Go get your mom and sister, so we can go home."
So, they all finished their shopping, and checked out and such, and got into the car to go home. As they were driving along, the dad turned and looked at his son and said, "Well, Son, I hope you learned a valuable lesson today." The son replied, "I sure did, Dad. I've only been a Sooners for a little over an hour, and I've already learned that I hate you darned Longhorns."
Okay, well, it made me laugh when I heard it. ;D
