Tactile Vampyrism: Viable or not?

This is a subject I've been interested in for a while. I've only read one article on the subject of tactile vampyrism, and the only other people I've talked to who've read it consider it viable. This article details many traits and instincts that seem to inherent only to tactiles, or so I guess. I'd suggest everyone here read it, then see if we can get a serious discussion on the topic.
