Every community must have guidelines its members must abide by. I will keep this list updated as much as possible, as the need becomes apparent within the community. If you feel something should be up here, feel free to let myself or Terran Nytefyer know.
Post your own introduction on the Intro board before posting anywhere else. Don't jump in on someone else's intro (other than to respond, of course ) and don't go posting all over the board without an intro. Members who post without an intro will be given one warning to post an intro. This is not to be mean, but simply because we want to form a close group, and sowe want to know who's here.
Please remain respectful at all times. ~ Do not insult, ridicule, or otherwise bash a fellow member. Disagreements are expected and perfectly acceptable... but keep it to a debate on the merits of the opinions presented, not an attack on the person who holds the opinon.
Try your best to keep posts in their proper places. This makes things easier on everyone, and allows those only interested in certain things to find those things without having to sift through tons of unrelated things. Don't post spells on the BloodVamp board, don't post intros on the General board, etc.
There is an 18+ board! Please keep the rest of the board PG-13! If you want access to the 18+ board (assuming you are over 18, of course) please let a mod/admin know, and we will give you the password.
Regarding religion - Discussion of religion is fine. Bashing a religion - any religion - is not. We want this place to be welcoming to everyone, regardless of race, creed, or lifestyle. This is a fine line, but the moderators/administrators will have the final say between what is discussion and what has crossed the line into bashing.
Keep an open mind. There will hopefully be people here from all varieties of walks of life. Do not discount someone because you do not happen to agree with their outlook. Healthy skeptics are welcome; debunkers are not. Doubt is healthy; adamant denial of the possibility is not. To quote: "People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost." -H. Jackson Browne.
And of course, if you live in the Midsouth, please let us know. One of our main goals is to form a close group here in the Midsouth. We have an entire section for those of us in the Midsouth, but we need to know who you are and feel we can trust you to add you to be able to access that area, as much RL info is likely to be given.
I have no doubt more will be added as the need arises.
