And has absolutely nothing to do with anything else here on the board. But it REALLY... uhm... annoys me, yeah, that's it. heh My favorite online Elven translator appears to have been taken down!!! ::BIG pout:: It was awesome, it did whole sentences, WITH punctuation, in both Elven and Drow. Blah! The next best one I've been able to find only does single words, and it doesn't have NEAR the vocabulary. I just had to vent somewhere, lol. Back to your regularly scheduled discussions.

Bummer! So... who ever decided what words, grammar, syntax, etc. would be in the Elven language anyway?

Well, regular elven was Tolkein. It's based on some nordic language (I can't remember which off the top of my head.) Then Drow is, I believe a bastardization of that, with the vocabulary being much more sibilant and hissing.

I don't know. I found another decent drow translator... but the elven one being taken down really really sucks
